MOTB Welcome Mat Subject description: Red-carpet treatment for newbie |
|
|
Derek was very kind when I stumbled onto MOTB while surfing shows in the LMA. I'm really grateful for his generous hospitality (talked me through the basics, offered help, etc). And Adam helped me out via the forum. You guys rock! MOTB is awesome! Call me a zealot...I'm currently going through my gd master cassettes (mostly nak 300 / D5) from early 80s, looking for possible gaps in the archive where I might be able to help.
You MOTB guys are on the cuttting edge of preservation of historical musical works -- I bet you could get National Endowment for the Arts funding.
P.S. Anyone know about the gd archive going to University of Calif Santa Cruz? Can we just walk into the library and check out a Betty reel?
Best to all,
-Bob
